Have you ever seen the Jack Daniels brand BBQ pulled pork at the supermarket? Ever thought, “Damn, that looks amazing.”? Well, me too. So I decided to make my own version! And let me say, I’m pretttttty sure it’s much better than the store bought version. FYI – you have to put aside about 12 hours for this recipe, so be prepared. Also, the pork needs to cook on low in the slow cooker for 10 of those hours, so plan your time well. I did not plan well and ended up having to wake up at 5am to “pull” the pork. Boo Boo was not pleased. Luke was though – he certainly liked the pork! So let’s get started. Following, you will see the ingredients for the cole slaw, the pulled pork and the Jack Daniels BBQ sauce. I suggest making the cole slaw while the pork is in the slow cooker and let it sit in the fridge overnight. It’s much better the next day.
